Real Audio
First, create and upload a Real Audio file to your Web site. If Computer Creations created a Real Audio file named test.rm, we would upload it into our /home/abacoinfo/abacoinfo-www/ directory. Put your Real Audio files anywhere inside your www directory. Make sure it is in your www directory and not a subdirectory (if you want it to work). Then create a text file with the extension of .ram that contains an html link to the full server path where the Real Audio file is located. For example, the full server path would look like this. Just substitute your user name and domain-www for ours: pnm://secure-hosting.net:7080/username/domain-www/file.rm We would do the same for abacoinfo.com as illustrated by this link: pnm://secure-hosting.net:7080/abacoinfo/abacoinfo-www/test.rm
The preceding link would be inside the .ram file, which at the mythical "domain_name.com" site would be called up by pointing to: http://domain_name.com/file.ram
